Desktop Publisher

 Description: This position is responsible for the production, typesetting and design of software user manuals. Other responsibilities may include the conforming of documentation to specified style guidelines in a print or online environment. HTML experience is a plus. Requirements consist of a good understanding of the book building process and 2 and 4 color print production. 1 to 2 years of digital production work is required. The successful candidate must be proficient at placing graphics into text, understanding multiple page creation, and have the ability to create a postscript file as well as work with complex designs and layout. Experience with PageMaker, Freehand, Photoshop and MS Word is required. 

E-commerce Designer , (Job # 1357)

 Description: This is a web design position for e-commerce sites. Please have solid web design skills. Those include HTML, Photoshop, Freehand, Debabelizer and Quark. Other requirements are one or more years of experience designing for the web, the ability to make creative decisions and a strong portfolio. Please send URLs or screenshots demonstrating e-commerce design experience. 

Graphical User Interface Designer

 Description: This Designer will own the User Interface features of this project from beginning to end. He or she must be able to work closely with program management and usability specialists in the definition and iterating of features. He or she will also work closely with developers on implementing and producing the final artwork. Other duties include developing prototypes, and designing specs, layouts and visuals. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years relevant design experience and the flexibility to adapt your design process in order to work under design and technical constraints. The ideal candidate will posses strong communication skills, be attentive to detail and have experience working with program management and development. Other requirements are a degree in Graphic Design or a related field, proficiency in Photoshop, and familiarity with Windows and Internet Explorer. The ability to prototype using Director and HTML are considered pluses. Please have samples of User Interface design for view in your portfolio.

Product Designer

 Description: This position will design the user interface and create the functionality design specifications for software applications. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and the user features and functionality to specific areas of software product. Please have a strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design as well as four to five years of related experience. Strong creative skills and the ability to generate ideas are required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. 

Product Designer, (Job # 2159)

 Description: Description: We’re looking for someone who can provide art direction for a forthcoming multiplayer space action game. The position designs user interfaces and writes functionality design specifications, generates design ideas; presents and sells designs to product group. Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design and contributes to user features and functionality. Responsible for user interface visual design and direction. This position will be responsible for final styling and implementation of in-game and shell user interface. Additional responsibilities include; Art direction and content management of the game’s 3D art, science fiction related concept design, and potentially help with storyboarding. The position would report directly to the game designer and manage the work of one other 3d artist. Skills Required: Qualifications: 4-5 years work related experience required. Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required. Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required. Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Must be familiar with industry standards and trends. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required. Some basic knowledge of HTML may be required. Portfolio review required. Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Design a plus. Master’s degree in Visual Design, Visual Communications or related field even better. Familiarity with PC game product interfaces a must. Experience in the game industry would be very advantageous.

Senior Web Designer , (Job # 1548)

 Description: This Web Design position requires a solid understanding of navigation and information architecture. Other requirements are a minimum of 2 years as a Web Designer and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. To be considered for this position sample URLs and a portfolio are required. Please be proficient in Photoshop, have the ability to write HTML without an editor, be familiar with Windows and PC Platform, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Technical Web Designer , (Job # 2051)

 Description: This is a Technical Web Designer position for an e-commerce site. The perfect candidate has at least two years web design experience and demonstrates strong Photoshop, Illustrator, and Image Ready skills. In addition, this Designer has extensive HTML and JavaScript knowledge. Working experience in server side active languages, such as Cold Fusion, is required. Previous experience as an e-commerce designer helpful.

Web Development Engineer

 Description: The Web Development Engineer will be involved in the ongoing process of web development for a high volume e-commerce site. This position includes building modular, reusable, well-documented, optimized server side scripts using Cold Fusion. Two years web development and at least one year Advanced Cold Fusion experience is required. E-commerce web development experience preferred.
